Invest in Local Youth – Enjoy a Night of Magic That Changes Lives
Washington, NC – April 11, 2025 – Local students are getting a head start on their futures—and the community has a chance to help make it happen. On Friday, April 25 at 7:30 PM, the Pamlico Business Resource Center and ECU Miller School of Entrepreneurship will host a benefit magic show at the Turnage Theatre, with 100% of ticket proceeds funding free Summer Youth Innovation Camps for teens and young adults in Beaufort County.
The camps—offered at no cost to students—equip youth ages 16–22 with real-world skills like entrepreneurship, business planning, leadership, and financial literacy. These programs are open to all local high school students, regardless of background or income.
“This isn’t just a show—it’s a lifeline,” says Keith Hudson, Executive Director of the Pamlico Business Resource Center. “Our goal is to prepare young people to succeed beyond the classroom. Every dollar raised gives a student in our community the chance to build something better in their future.
To support this cause, nationally recognized magician Shaun Jay will perform his award-winning show The Magic of Innovation—a family-friendly experience that blends illusion, storytelling, and technology. Shaun has been featured on CW’s “Masters of Illusion,” FOX, ABC, and TEDx, and brings a fresh spin to classic magic.
Here’s How to Help:
Attend the show. Enjoy an unforgettable night. Help fund a young person’s future.
