Episode One 1/10– Bryan Hanks – The Public Information Officer for Lenoir County was out discussing the Phase 1 Rollout of the Covid Vaccine. More on Covid Vaccine Rollout can be found HERE

Episode Two 1/17– George Young  – The Eastern Regional Director for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC was on discussing distribution, pantries and what the food bank needs most right now- which is monetary donations.. for every $1 donated the food bank can purchase $10 worth of food bc of their partners- make your donation 10 times stronger!!! Episode Three 1/31– All about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Courage for KiKi is a campaign for a local girl from Sneads Ferry who is currently at St. Jude. Follow Kiki’s journey HERE. Just in time for Valentine’s Day- support St. Jude with Valentine’s Day Gear!

Episode Four 2/7- Talking about mental health with our youth as we continue in the Covid 19 Pandemic- We touch base briefly with Keith Hamm a community liaison for Integrated Family Services- with offices through ENC HERE as well as review the CDCs Parental Resource Kits that are available in 4 different age groups HERE

Episode Five 2/14– We spoke with Tanya & Jenny about Eastern Radiologists involvement with Ride for the Ribbon, a breast cancer fundraiser here in ENC. You can follow the RFTR Facebook page HERE. They are also unveiling RFTR merchandise in the early summer 2021 HERE

Episode Six 2/21– Scott Herrick – The National Director of Public Policy for the Alzheimer’s Association. March 11th from 9AM to 2PM is Advocacy Day!  Free training for anyone interested in becoming an advocate or helping a loved one HERE. The Alzheimer Help & Support Center has more HERE. 1 in 8 of those in their 60s, 1 in 4 of those in their 70s, and 1 in 2 of those in their 80s will suffer from some sort of cognitive impairment. Episode Seven 2/28- Bill Ivey – the Executive Director for Home for Our Troops. Home for Our Troops broke ground Feb 6th in Jacksonville,  building for Sgt. Hancock – learn about his story HERE. Homes for Our Troops has built and donated over 313 homes since their inception! Episode Eight 3/7 & 3/14- We spoke to Ray Leggett, CEO of Carolina East Health System about their recent distinction as a top hospital in NC as well as the many additions and distinctions from the past year! Read about their ranking here HERE

Episode Nine 3/21- We speak with Tom Kies, President of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce. We discuss how they’ve pivoted business after hours, ribbon cuttings etc. in light of Covid-19. Also their Service Person of the Quarter!

Episode Ten 3/28- Sara Auld- Founder & President of Health Possible will be on… A non profit based in Wilmington NC. Individuals looking for assistance with their health, whether, fitness, nutrition, or mental health can apply for the program HERE. Episode Eleven 4/4-  This week we speak to Dee Smith, Coordinator for Carteret Big Sweep! An already amazing program that has announced 3 new initiatives for 2021. There are scheduled monthly roadside cleanups- the 3rd Saturday of each month, volunteer HERE. With the Fill My Bucket List Campaign, you can order your personal cleanup kit. Orders will be taken April 12 through the 23rd. The Summer Solo Cleanup Program recruits students to clean up litter from Memorial Day to Labor Day and earn their community service hours! Episode Sixteen 5/9 & 5/23- This week we speak with Mary & Tali with the Pacific Arts Festival –Dancers from all over gather at Humphrey Farm on June 26th  with Polynesian style entertainment and cultural events, there will be a kids area, food trucks with traditional foods as well as some American staples such as burgers & hot dogs! Episode Eighteen 5/30– This week we speak with Bob Lillie- Regional Vice President for Altice about the Altice Innovator Awards. Episode Nineteen 6/6 & 6/13- This week is all about Hope for the Warriors! We recap the 14th Annual Kayak for the Warriors with event coordinator Jean Mcdanal, raising over $650K through the years. We also focus on upcoming Hope for the Warriors events like the 30X30 Virtual Challenge- which we are a proud sponsor of- check it out HERE. Episode Twenty 6/20 & 6/27- This week we speak with Cindy Meyers- Visitor Services Coordinator for the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Episode Twenty One 7/4- This week we speak with Dawn Rochelle the Chief Executive Officer for One Place– a 501c3 in Onslow County that creates hope for families by connecting them with resources & programs to end child abuse! Including a new partnership with Bay Area Psychology associates to expand mental health services for victims of child abuse. Their Fundraiser Denim & Diamonds is back at The Rustic Barn – This fundraising benefit serves to bring the community together for an evening of networking, bites, sips, & celebration – all while raising critical funds for the child abuse prevention and intervention services in Onslow County. Episode Twenty Two 7/11- Today we spoke with Darlene Brown, Executive Director for Craven County Partners in Education- a 501c3 that provides grant funding & special programs for classrooms. Episode Twenty Four 7/25- Hope Mission is celebrating 30 years of serving others with many hands and one heart! We spoke with director Gene McClendon on how they are celebrating with food & fun on July 29th, from 4P-7P- dunking booths, bounce houses, & Project Superhero! Episode Twenty Five 8/1- This week we spoke with the founder of Posterity Press– John Poole – a two-year combat commander and seven-year squad/platoon trainer, Posterity Press is an educational nonprofit that has been adding something unique to the written body of military knowledge—namely, enlisted wisdom. 

Episode Twenty-Six 8/8- Legendary Singer Lee Greenwood joins us this week to help promote the Summer Soiree with Hope for the Warriors- where he will be performing August 15th – for more info & tickets. Episode Twenty-Seven 8/15- This week we speak with Laura Hogshead- Director of NC Hope, an amazing program providing emergency rental assistance to people that experienced a setback due to Covid-19.. to include wage reductions, loss of job, hours, etc. NC Hope also has utility assistance. NC Hope lets you know within 10 minutes if you qualify- most people do- the income limit is 80% of your county medium-income- VERY generous! NC Hope is also accepting tenant referrals from landlords.. so if your tenant is having issues making the monthly rent.. you can help possibly get them assistance. Episode Thirty 9/5 & 9/12- This week Barry Porter, regional CEO of the American Red Cross Eastern NC speaks with us about the Red Cross response to IDA, Flooding in western NC, and worsening fires to the west. Our local Red Cross has deployed 40 disaster first responders for these efforts! Episode Thirty-One 9/26 & 10/10- The Alzheimer’s Association invites you to join Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 16th in Jacksonville HERE. We spoke with Director Lisa Roberts as well as Team Captain Jeanette Martinez – Specifically, because it is Hispanic Heritage Month and Alzheimer’s greatly affects our Hispanic community as well. Where there’s a walk, there’s a way! 

Episode Thirty-Two 10/3- The Onslow Veterans Pow WOW is a unique pow-wow in 3 ways… it’s intertribal, it’s for veterans, & it’s open to the public. We speak with organizer Raquel Painter, a Marine Veteran & Native American, who says there will be drummers, dancing, and food for all! The Pow-Wow is this weekend at the American Legion in Jacksonville!
